Polling Place Workers Train Ahead of November Election
The Cobb County elections team is busy getting ready for the November 3 election and that includes training more than 1,400 poll workers. Yesterday, 40 people attended a 4-hour training class to learn about working at the polls, including setting up and breaking down the voting equipment. This was the nineteenth training session with 26 still left to go. So far, 669 poll workers have been trained.
For those choosing to vote by absentee ballot, Cobb has made it easy to return those ballots and you do not have to use the mail. Sixteen secure drop boxes around the county are available 24/7 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, to return your ballot. To view all of the locations, view the flyer by clicking here.
