Mableton, GA – February 12, 2023 – Life’s Not All Black & White exhibit featuring over 30 quilts by award-winning local quilter Jan Cunningham is being presented by the East Cobb Quilters’ Guild in collaboration with Cobb County and Cobb County Parks.

Award-winning East Cobb Quilters’ Guild (ECQG) member Jan Cunningham is well-known for her inspired use of color and quirky sense of humor. This exhibit of more than 30 of her favorite quilts demonstrates both these talents and some exquisite applique. Jan is skilled at putting her mark on traditional quilting patterns and techniques, a practice she encourages in her students, too.

The show will be held at the Mable House Arts Center beginning Thursday, March 2, and running through Thursday, March 30. The gallery is open from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.  A select number of evenings and weekend days may be available. On Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2 – 4 PM, there will be a reception in honor of Ms. Cunningham and a chance to meet her personally. Check the Mable House website at www.mablehouse.org or call 770.8919.3285 for more information and to confirm hours.

Admission to the exhibit and reception is free.  The Mable House Arts Center is located at 5239 Floyd Road SW, Mableton, GA 30126. For complete details, visit https://mablehouse.org/index.php/component/jevents/eventdetail/3235/31
