Cobb County is preparing for its 2020 Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, the Cobb County Five-Year (2021-2025) Consolidated Plan, and the 2021 Annual Action Plan as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under federal regulations. The Analysis of Impediments will identify barriers to equal access to housing and propose strategies to overcome those impediments. The Consolidated Plan identifies community needs and provides a five-year strategy for how HUD grant funds will be used to develop community resources that address those needs while the Annual Action Plan will address specific needs during the 2021 program year.

A kickoff meeting is planned for Monday, Feb. 3 from 2-4 p.m. at Zion Keepers, 324 Victory Drive, SE, Marietta.

Click on the link below to see when seven (7) additional meetings will be held to obtain public input for community development and fair housing needs in Cobb during the month of February.
