For the first time in the system's 30-year history, CobbLinc buses will soon be rolling on Sundays.  That was one of the major changes the Board of Commissioners approved at their Tuesday meeting.  These changes came after an intense study of the system by a consulting group.  

You can view a detailed list of the changes, but the highlights include;

• Sunday bus service starting July 1
• A new Route 10X using the managed lanes between Kennesaw State University's Kennesaw and Marietta campuses
• Modification of some routes, elimination of others
• A new ride-sharing agreement that will help residents of part of the Cobb County to nearby bus stops

That ride sharing agreement will only start after the county formulates a "Request for Proposal" that must be approved by the Board.  Up to two companies will be selected to partner with the County for the program.
