Cobb's Library System celebrated expanded hours at a special event at the Acworth branch.  Acworth Mayor Tommy Allegood joined Chairman Mike Boyce to change out the "hours of operation" sign at the library.  The new hours started in November 2018.  The recently-passed budget included more money for the system, allowing the libraries to begin the process of restoring hours cut during the recession.  Many libraries will now be open on Saturdays, and others expanded their weekday hours.
