Christmas is right around the corner and Cobb Senior Services' staff is gearing up for its 11th annual Senior Santa party on Dec. 7. This special event is a great chance for homebound seniors in Cobb County to enjoy an afternoon of holiday cheer, good food, great gifts and warm fellowship with others. There are several ways you can help make this event a success:

• Sponsor a holiday lunch for up to 100 seniors
• Sponsor Bingo and prizes
• Make a $30 or more monetary donation
• "Adopt" a senior and fulfill his/her Christmas wish list
• Donate gift certificates (Walmart, Kroger, Publix, etc.)
• Donate new unwrapped gender-specific gifts
