Good news! Cobb County’s Animal Services shelter has REOPENED! After vaccinating the entire animal population, and having the shelter scrubbed down, the two-week quarantine period is over. No other animals are showing signs of “strep zoo.” Several weeks ago, the disease killed at least two dogs at the shelter, prompting the shutdown. There have been no other reports of recently-adopted animals becoming sick, so the vets have cleared the facility. Just in time for the Fall Adoption Special as well! $20! Come visit!
